Day 1:Arrival Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by your representative and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2:Nairobi – Samburu

After breakfast, check out and drive North via Nanyuki and Mount Kenya to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch.

Samburu provides some the best and most colorful game viewing in Kenya and famous for the Samburu special and the Samburu peole.

Afternoon game drive before you return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Samburu

Spend this day in Samburu exploring this beutiful reserve on your game drives.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta

After breakfast check out and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for lunch at Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta -Lake Elementaita

After breakfast check out and to the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.

Evening game drive in Soysambu Conservancy before your return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru Day Trip

After breakfast, check out with picnic lunch boxes for a day trip to the nearby Lake Nakuru National park.

The lake’s algae attract flamingos that one might have a chance of spotting them line the shores of the lake.

Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and white rhinos have also been introduced.

Nakuru means “Dust or Dusty Place” in the Maasai language.

Day 7: Masai Mara

Today you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.

This afternoon you will visit a traditional Masai Village and get to learn about their culture.

Day 8 & 9: Masai Mara

Spend these two days in Masai Mara for game drives and other activities.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Serengeti

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Masai airstrip for your flight to Migori.

On arrival you will be met and then driven to the border town of Isebania where you will go through the immigration and customs procedures at the Tanzanian border.

You will then change vehicles as you proceed into Tanzania to the Tarime airstrip for your flight onwards into the Serengeti National Park.

You will stop for a picnic lunch once in the park and then the afternoon is spent on a game drive heading towards your lodge for the evening

Day 11 & 12: Serengeti

Day 13: Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world.

Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife, permanent residents on the crater floor.

En-route visits the Olduvai Gorge, a site of archaeological findings, where traces of prehistoric man dating back 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 14: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, you will depart for half day tour of the crater floor.

A population of approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater; these include the black rhinoceros, and the hippopotamus, which is very uncommon in the area, the wildebeest, the zebra, the eland, and Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles.

The crater has the densest known population of lions, numbering 62 in 2001. On the crater rim are leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, and buffalo.

In the middle of the crater there is a large lake inhabited by hundreds of flamingoes and from a distance, they appear as a pink border of the lake.

The Crater, a large, unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago is 610 m deep and its floor covers 260 km2.

You will return to your lodge for lunch and the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

For your pleasure a late afternoon sundowner has been arranged with spectacular crater views.

Day 15: Depart

After breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch at the Arusha Hotel.

Thereafter you will be transferred to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
